Detailed Description
Programs | * The show has closed. Re-Heater, which made its debut at the SF Theater Festival in 2019, returns to captivate audiences with enhanced quality. Its SF musical genre sparks curiosity, while the setting of Antarctica further x_heightens interest. Themes of love and loss also draw audiences to the theater. Seong-jin hears the news that his ex-wife, Hye-in, has gone missing in Antarctica. While trying to retrieve her body at the South Pole, he discovers the meteorite re-heater that she possessed and uses it to reunite with her. What is fantasy, and what is reality? Can they overcome their pain and wounds to love each other again? In this context, Antarctica becomes not just a kingdom of ice, but a new starting point between isolation and warmth. The media facade stage recreates the appearance of Antarctica in a way that is lonely, dreamlike, beautiful, and lyrical. The musical numbers (songs and music pieces played in musical performance) feature a quartet of drums, keyboard, violin, and cello that harmonize the characters’ emotions and resonate with the Antarctic setting on stage. Additionally, the use of thermography technology, which visually represents the surface temperature of the human body, adds an intriguing element to the performance. |
